three days of not really heavy but almost non-stop rain and what do we expect? poor town of Calumpit is in water again.....hopefully this wont happen on a yearly basis coz it really really sucks!
the non-stop downpour starts last thursday as i drove my way to the airport to fetch my BIL whose coming home for a quick one month vacation from Qatar. upon entering the NLEX, the calm sky started to turn dark and plush all the waters down. the visibility is quite hard that's why we were forced to open our headlights and blinkers for safety travel. good thing that the arrival is scheduled in the morning so by past lunch time we were already home coz on the news that night the metro is almost not passable anymore especially to light vehicles, and that's so scary. i cannot imagine having myself and Kap stranded in those flooded streets...i might add up to the water level if i cried a river, haha!
Then last Friday is our Town Fiesta. The feast of St John The Baptist. i went to my SIL's house in the town proper to have lunch and spend some time with my hubby's relatives. it was a nice day of laughing, chatting, few drinks, lots of singing and tons of picture taking but still outside the rain continue to pour that's why all the major streets going to their house is in above knee water level. tricycles opt not to travel anymore so more people take a dip in cold and dirty water. i went home around 8pm that night with a friend all soaked up so i went straight to the bathroom to have some hot shower. had coffee and took some pills coz i'm already starting to sneeze..heads to bed and thank God i'm feeling fine.
That Saturday morning, my friends and i were scheduled to watch a movie and go out for dinner. we plan of watching the new flick of KC and Sam by 3pm then we'll head to Max's Malolos for the chicken all you can promo but sadly we cancelled everything due to more downpours. my friends house were flooded already and the main highway is likewise flooded and not passable to light vehicles, anymore. we just stayed home and have chats in FB. we were all bored to death. the rain eventually stop pouring last night......
Today's Sunday! another lazy and gloomy day for i am stucked at home. can't think of anything yet but maybe later i'll put an end to this laziness......i better start moving my ass out of bed and fix the house. haven't eaten yet except for the cup of coffee awhile ago, i'm so not in the mood to eat......church time @5pm.
gonna be here till 3pm waiting for my baby......
